We visited the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills...this is a great free little sightseeing diversion. It is a 55 room home with beautiful grounds. They were actually setting up for a wedding when we were there. It now belongs to the Parks & Rec/State Parks department and though you can't go in the home, you can see some cool architectual elements as well as the grounds with water features, etc. There were a ton of turtles in the ponds. It would be a great place to take a picnic lunch and spend a couple of hours.These lovely ladies were visiting fro
m Japan and their mom asked (interpreted through their tour guide) if our kids would be in a picture with them. She was very curious as to how old our boys were; I think her oldest was a bit younger than #1.
