Summer Finally Came to Idaho!

Daddy got to pick what he wanted to do on Father's Day and since we finally have nice weather we went to a couple of local spots we've been wanting to check out. We went to Jump Creek; it was a short hike perfect for the kids. There were a lot of people, so we didn't stay long. We had a nice picnic by the creek and afterwards went to a local hot spring on the road to the Owyhee Reservoir...and again, too many people, but still a nice afternoon! Jumpin' Baby!

I found one of the classic "Johnny Jump Up"s at the children's resale store. He likes it quite a bit! It usually only lasts for a few minutes, but he really enjoys it...big brothers bob up and down with him, chanting "jump, jump, jump" and I think he likes being the center of attention. This was taken a couple of weeks ago...but with the boys home everyday I don't have as much time to get things done! I had to remind myself of my happy baby because he's been grumpy for the past few days. He's either seen a return of the double ear infection or those top teeth that are bulging out are getting to him. :(
